Can you volunteer for the Mental Health Patterns Library stewardship group?
The Mental Health Patterns Library is a resource for those involved in developing and delivering digital mental health support. It’s designed to encourage learning and the sharing of best practice.
We’re in the process of setting up a stewardship group of volunteers to help carry work forward on the library. 10 of us have volunteered so far, and we’re looking for another 5 people. We know how important it is to make sure the group is diverse, and to address underrepresentation right at the start.
In particular, we must have representation of marginalised communities, who are so often disproportionately impacted by inequalities in the provision of mental health services.
With that in mind, we’re looking for Black and Indigenous people of colour who are working in this space, or who have used mental health services, to join the stewardship group.
What’s involved?
The stewardship group meets remotely, for an hour and a half, every 6 weeks.
As this is a voluntary project, we know that people need to fit this work around other commitments. With that in mind, we’re aiming to be flexible with each other about attendance, and to share updates and meeting notes on Slack so everyone can stay involved.
Read our most recent blog post on the stewardship group to find out more about what we plan to concentrate on over the next 6 months.
