Make sure the space you are providing is safe by ensuring that users’ confidentiality is respected, that they are aware of the rules around confidentiality and are able to remain anonymous. 

Ask for constant feedback from your users

Feedback can help for service improvements, by keeping users' favourite features and adding new ones based on feedback, but it can also ensure a rapid escalation in case of abuse or issues. 

Set and share some house rules or community guidelines

Make sure the space you are providing is safe by providing some rules the community is aware of and can apply such as an age limit or other rules that need to be respected to take part. 

Be transparent about moderation

Make sure the space you are providing is safe by being transparent on your site about the moderation of the service offered by your team and its extent. Ideally users should be verified before being able to join in the conversation to avoid abuse.
